Gaia and I went to the Kids at Work Saturday Jamming Session with Julie Averill and Vinnie Lo Verme. www.kidsatworknyc.com
Gaia and I first met Julie at her Kids at Work class "Toddle Around" located at the Kids at Work Studio @ 102 W14th Street. The Saturday Jamming Session clss is held at The Village Preschool Center 136 W10th Street between Greenwich Ave and Waverly Place.
As Gaia crawled into the room, Vinnie sang "Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison. It was cute!
The class started at 10:45 which is Gaia's nap time. She was a trooper and held it together to enjoy the Jam Session. I prefered the Kids at Work Studio on 14th street because it felt more like a place of our own rather than a rented space. At The Village Preschool Center there was a room with a skylight next to the room we were in. It would be great if the Jamming Session was held in that room instead.
As usual, Julie was on point with her tone, pitch and passion for children.
I signed up Gaia a 5 session package. See you there kiddies!
